40 hours of creditable CE per 2-year reporting period: 6 hours ethics, 6 hours cultural competence, and 2 hours in suicide risk assessment, treatment and management. Up to 10 excess hours may be carried over to the next reporting period. Licensees attest to CE compliance at renewal; the board randomly audits renewed licensees each calendar year.
