Details

40 hours of CE per two-year renewal period. No more than 12 hours may be completed via independent home study/distance learning/internet courses (§7008.4(a), §7009.4). The 6-hour ethics requirement must be completed live in person; distance courses do not satisfy it. No CE required for the first renewal after initial licensure (§7008.2). The Board may conduct random CE audits (§7008.5). CE credit in whole hours only; minimum 50 minutes = 1 credit hour (§7010.1).
