MN Rules 6500.0950 caps home study/self-instruction at 15 hrs per two-year period. Per Minn. Stat. 214.12 subd. 6 (2018), licensees with prescribing authority must obtain at least 2 hrs per cycle on best practices in prescribing opioids and controlled substances. Licensees may count up to 6 hrs practice management per period (per board guidance).
