20 MBCE-approved units annually: at least 3 in radiographic/advanced imaging safety, technique, or interpretation and at least 1 in professional boundaries in the clinical setting. Acupuncture registrants must include 2 units in acupuncture subjects (animal-chiropractic registrants owe 6 additional animal-chiropractic units). No CE is required in the calendar year of initial licensure. Legal attestation of completion is part of the renewal application; noncompliance found on audit incurs significant penalties.
