Board wording: Licenses renew annually on or before July 1 (W. Va. Code §30-16-15). CE hours must be completed before June 30 and submitted with the renewal. Doctors first licensed in the year of graduation (e.g., licensed after June 30, 2025 for the 2026–27 renewal) are exempt from CE until the next renewal year.
