100 hours of continuing education every 2 years per WAC 246-918-180, with a minimum of 40 hours in Category I. In lieu of the 100 hours, the Commission accepts current NCCPA certification or compliance with an AAPA/NCCPA continuing-competency program. No recurring state sub-topic mandates. One-time prerequisites apply: 6-hour suicide assessment training (WAC 246-918-185) and 1-hour opioid prescribing best-practices training (WAC 246-918-825) — both one-time, not per cycle.
