Utah continued-competency routes for LPNs (R156-31b-303(3)(a)) are identical to RN routes: in the two years preceding renewal, 400 hours of licensed practice, 200 practice hours plus 15 contact hours of approved CE, or 30 contact hours of approved CE. Every renewal also requires one specified online suicide-prevention training (0.5 credit), per Utah Code 58-31b-305.
