Rule 14-508 (licensing): failure to pay the annual license fee (due July 1) or provide licensing information results in administrative suspension; reenrollment requires back license fees plus a $200 reinstatement fee. Rule 14-414 (MCLE): compliance certificate ($15 filing fee) due July 31 of alternate years; $100 late fee for missing the June 30 completion or July 31 filing deadline; $200 reinstatement fee ($500 for a repeat violation within 5 years). How compliance is checked

Each lawyer must retain proof substantiating the Certificate of Compliance for four years from the end of the filing period and produce it to the Board on written request (Rule 14-414(c)).
