A license not renewed by May 31 of even-numbered years automatically expires. Reinstatement within 30 days costs the renewal fee plus $20; after 30 days and within 2 years, plus $50; after 2 years a new application is required. How compliance is checked
DOPL may audit the renewal qualifications of licenses with specific requirements; selected licensees are notified, and DOPL may initiate action at any time against a licensee who did not meet the renewal or reinstatement requirements when the license was issued.
