Licenses expire biennially (March 31, odd/even-year cohorts). Delinquency tiers: $50 within 30 days of expiration, $100 for 30–60 days, $150 plus a $500 reinstatement fee for 60 days to 1 year, and $250 plus $500 reinstatement plus the jurisprudence exam for 1–4 years; a license expired more than 4 years cannot be reinstated. Practicing on an expired license is prohibited.Verify with board

How compliance is checked

Dentists must retain CE records for at least four licensure years (OAR 818-021-0060).
