An expired license must be reinstated before practicing; practicing on an expired license is unlawful and subject to board discipline. Penalties scale with the lapse: $50 (expired 30 days or less), $100 (31-60 days), $150 plus a $500 reinstatement fee (expired over 60 days); a license expired more than 4 years cannot be reinstated.Verify with board
