172 NAC 90-005: during the preceding 24 months, complete either 50 hours of Category I CE (ACCME/AOA/AAPA) or meet NCCPA requirements within the previous 24 months. Up to 25 excess hours may carry over to the next 24-month period. The 2025 official renewal notice confirms the October 1, 2025 deadline, the CE attestation, the LB731 opiate-prescribing CE question, and first-licensed/military exemptions. The opiate-prescribing 3-hour requirement (Uniform Credentialing Act statute) terminates January 1, 2029.
