Nebraska chiropractors must complete 36 hours of acceptable CE during each preceding 24-month period under 172 NAC 29. No more than 6 hours may be earned by self-study (which must include a provider-scored testing mechanism), and the 8 mandatory hours may not be earned by self-study at all. The Board does not pre-approve CE programs; any CE directly related to chiropractic practice that meets the mandatory-topic minimums counts. Licenses expire August 1 of even-numbered years.
