Min 30 scientific; min 1 medical records; min 1 MI veterinary law or federal/state controlled-substance law. The 12 live hours may be all in person, or at least 6 in person with the remainder synchronous/live interactive. Max 33 hours in online/electronic/printed/async format; max 15 hours for publication/presentation/instruction/committee activities; max 12 hours per 24-hour day. Waiver requests must reach the department before license expiry.
