36 hours of Board-approved CE during the 3 years before the end of each 3-year license cycle (Mich. Admin. Code R 338.11702/R 338.11704a), with at least 2 hours in pain and symptom management; current BLS or ACLS certification with a hands-on component is required. The Board's administrative rules relicensure table (R 338.11269) additionally specifies 1 hour dental ethics/jurisprudence (incl. delegation) and 1 hour infection control (sterilization, PPE, CDC guidelines) - confirm these subtopic allocations apply to the current renewal cycle. Implicit-bias training (R 338.7004) is separately required. Renewal is triennial on the license issue-date anniversary (R 338.7002).
