Confirmed per LSBOE renewal page (current CE requirements, eff. 8/1/2023 under Act 194/SB 210, 2023): 16 hrs/year from approved sources; 8 of the 16 must pertain to ocular and systemic pharmacology and current diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease AND be obtained through an in-person classroom setting; no more than 6 of the 16 hrs may come from online sources. All CE hours must be submitted to the ARBO OE Tracker. (The 16-hour tier applies to licensees authorized to diagnose/treat pathology and use/prescribe therapeutic agents; prior law was 12 hrs.)
