Renewal: OT licenses expire March 31 each year. Renewal requires 40 contact hours of continuing education completed during the immediately preceding 24-month period (K.S.A. 65-5412; K.A.R. 100-54-7).

Proof of satisfactory completion furnished to the Board upon request; certified at renewal
Grace period
An expired license may be renewed within 30 days of expiration upon payment of the renewal fee plus the late renewal fee; otherwise the license is canceled by operation of law (K.S.A. 65-5412).

Kansas renews OT licenses annually on March 31, but measures continuing education over the 24 months preceding renewal (40 contact hours). CE evidence is required in odd-numbered renewal years.
