Adopted rule change effective January 1, 2024 removed the historical 16-hour accounting-and-auditing requirement; at least 50% of credits (40) must now be in technical fields of study, plus 4 ethics credits including 1 credit in Georgia laws, rules and policies. Age-70 exemption available; up to 15 non-technical credits may carry over (cannot satisfy the technical requirement).
