Active architects must complete 24 CE hours per two-year licensure period, all HSW, with a minimum of 8 hours in each calendar year (Jan 1–Dec 31). Renewal date January 31 of even-numbered years. First renewal is pro-rated at 1 CE hour per month of registration beginning with the first full month following issuance. CE documentation must be maintained 6 years. Carryforward not published on the current DPR page. Audit: After each renewal, a percentage of licensees are randomly selected for audit of CE. Retain CE certificates 6 years.
