The 16-hour biennial requirement applies to every APRN (Legislative Council memo, loaded as an official document via proxy: https://linproxy.fan.workers.dev:443/https/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/document/lcactmemos/2025/REG/Act%2017.pdf); the prior Admin. Code N 8.05 language (16 hours for advanced practice nurse prescribers, including at least 2 hours in responsible prescribing of controlled substances) was not repealed by the emergency rules. The updated APRN renewal deadline schedule was not found — deadline marked UNCONFIRMED.
