Required categories
24 hours every two years spanning two or more activity types; at least 20 hours must directly relate to OT practice (RCW 18.59.020 / WAC 246-847-010) and the remainder may be professional-development activities. In-service training is capped at 15 hours; college coursework is capped at 15 hours (1 credit = 5 hours). Within the 24: 3 hours of suicide-assessment training every six years (WAC 246-847-066; documentation kept six years) and, effective January 1, 2024, 2 hours of health-equity CE every four years (RCW 43.70.613 / WAC 246-12-800–830). Multi-cycle trainings are noted here, not as every-cycle additive categories.
