Type 1 continuing learning activities (clinical hours approved by a CCE-accredited college or university, or any other organization approved by the board)

30 hours of Type 1 clinical continuing learning activities every two years; excess hours do not carry over. Practitioners are exempt from CE for the first biennial renewal following initial licensure. The board may extend the CE deadline up to one year for good cause shown on written request before the renewal date.
