28 hours per March 2 to March 1 biennium (odd-numbered years), including 2 hours of sterilization/infection control. Controlled-substance prescribers need 2 prescribing/monitoring hours; no more than half of CE may be earned via online computer seminars (live interactive webinars count as live). Current CPR recertification is required every two years and must be done in person. The February 2025 Board CE guidance contains no sedation-specific CE requirement.
