Under NAC 640A (2024), a standard licensee must complete at least 24 hours of CE per biennial renewal cycle; up to 10 hours in excess may be carried over to the following cycle. A person obtaining a standard license within 12 months of graduation needs 12 hours for the first renewal. CE providers report that licensees must achieve a passing score on the Nevada Occupational Therapy Jurisprudence Examination at least once every 5 years (2 credits awarded); verify with the Nevada State Board of Occupational Therapy.
