30 CE hours per 2-year renewal cycle under 16.12.17 NMAC, or current national APRN certification, which satisfies both RN and APRN CE. Renewal is attestation with random audit; retain CE records at least one year after renewal. APRNs with DEA registration and opioid prescribing authority must complete 5 hours of non-cancer pain management CE each renewal period (16.12.9 NMAC chronic-pain rule).
