New Hampshire Physician Assistant (PA) CE category requirements

Med 613.01 (adopted rule 2025-33, eff 10-2-25, expires 10-2-35): each physician associate must either maintain NCCPA certification or obtain at least 100 credit hours of approved CME per renewal period, of which 40 hours are Category I and no more than 60 are Category II. New Hampshire's official professional title is now 'physician associate.' The deadline citation is RSA 328-D:5 as amended by 2020 HB 1491; its text was verified via the LegiScan bill text rather than the official NH General Court site, which could not be reached — see fallback note. Prescribers registered with the PDMP may also owe 3 hours of pain management/addiction CME under Med 402.01(m); that provision sits in the physician CME rule and is not stated in Med 613, so it is flagged here rather than counted as a mandated PA category.
