MSDH Rule 8.7.2 requires 20 contact hours (2 CEU) per licensure period with no carryover: at least 30% (6 hours) directly related to clinical practice of OT and completed as live face-to-face training; 2 hours of ethics specifically related to OT practice; of the remaining 14 hours, up to 7 may be non-live (home study, video, internet). Active NBCOT certification may be submitted in lieu of CE hours (2 ethics hours still required). Initial licensees have prorated requirements.
