Nationally certified APRNs have no separate state CE requirement — maintaining the anchor RN license and active national certification (with the Board notified of each recertification) is the requirement, so totalHours is 0 for the standard path. The 60-hour category is recorded as the only APRN-specific CE option: the alternative maintenance path for non-certified APRNs (800 practice hours + 60 specialty contact hours per 2 years; if documentation is not received before expiration, reinstatement requires national certification). Missouri RN licenses expire April 30 of odd-numbered years; compact-RN holders without a Missouri RN license renew in a February 1–April 30 window in odd-numbered years. The APRN expiration is the earlier of the RN-license expiration and the national-certification expiration. A collaborative practice agreement is required to provide delegated medical acts.
