Alabama Insurance CE category requirements

Required categories

24 hours biennially, including 3 hours of ethics, confirmed in Ala. Admin. Code Rule 482-1-110-.05. Individual licenses expire at the end of the birth month in odd or even years by birth year; a license not renewed by expiration may be renewed within 30 days after expiration with a $50 late fee, retroactive to expiration (Rule 482-1-110-.04). Office-only service representatives have a separate 12-hour/2-ethics requirement (Rule 482-1-110-.05).
