Failure to complete the minimum required CE during the renewal period subjects the licensee to disciplinary action under section 11(a)(6) of the act. Civil penalties (43b.26): 1st offense $25 per deficient hour (max $1,000); failure to respond to a CE audit request 1st offense $100; practicing on an unrenewed license $50 per month lapsed (max $1,000).
