New York has no general CE-hour requirement for RN or LPN registration renewal. Nurses must renew their registration every three years and attest to mandated training: infection-control/barrier-precautions coursework every four years, and a one-time 2-hour child abuse identification and reporting course (subject to qualifying-education exemptions). LPNs follow the same model.
