Renewal: Biennial renewal December 31; the renewal year follows the year of original licensure (odd issue year renews in odd years; even issue year in even years) per 20 CSR 2030-11.010. Licensees may renew within 3 months after the renewal date without penalty; licenses unrenewed after 3 months expire automatically.

24 CEUs within the 2 years preceding the renewal date (1 CEU = 1 contact hour); at least 16 CEUs related to health, safety, and welfare acquired in structured educational activities. Excess up to 12 units may carry to the next period. Records retained 4 years. Architects licensed less than 12 months before the first renewal need not report CE. Three-month cure to substantiate or earn other credits after audit disallowance.
