Under 259 CMR 7.00, OTs must complete a minimum of 24 points of board-recognized continuing competence activities per biennial renewal period (1 point = 1 contact hour), including 2 hours in ethics, laws, or regulations governing MA practice. The ethics/law requirement is enforced for renewals due August 2024 and later. The Board prorates continuing competence activities for a licensee's first renewal due on or after September 1, 2022.
