Confirmed against Idaho Code §54-2023 (July 2025 IREC Law & Rules booklet, dopl.idaho.gov): each renewing licensee completes two Commission core courses plus 12 classroom hours of CE. Each core is an annual July 1–June 30 course whose length IREC sets per cycle, capped at 4 classroom hours by §54-2004(15) — 2024–2025 cores ran 3.5 hours, so practical cycle totals run 18–20 hours around the nominal 18. First active renewal: two core courses plus the post-license course (§54-2023(1)(a)); the post-license course is capped at 12 hours per §54-2004(36). No duplicate credit for a core or course already credited in the same period.
