How many CE credits do IARs need each year?
12 credits each calendar year under NASAA's IAR CE Model Rule: 6 in Ethics and Professional Responsibility and 6 in Products and Practices.
Does Florida require IAR CE?
Yes. Florida has adopted the NASAA IAR CE Model Rule. If you are registered in multiple adopting states, completing CE once satisfies all of them through the IARD system.
How is IAR CE reported, and what are the fees?
NASAA-approved providers report completions to FINRA's IARD system. A $3-per-credit roster fee (about $36/year) is added at checkout by most providers; some, like Quest CE, bundle it into the price.
When is the IAR CE deadline?
December 31 each year. Excess credits do not carry over to the next year, and you cannot repeat a course for credit.
